The hotel lies in the old town, very nice and quiet and very close to good restaurants as well as bus stations. The hotel is after many years (after 2004 our second stay there) a very well-kept impression and offers a very extensive breakfast buffet which leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel is still informally run, has about 40 beds and a small pool, a nice terrace. Guests are especially German and English from 30 years and older.

Were beginning to middle September in Albergaria dias. Very friendly staff, the boss care itself in order to everything, for example, guests personally adopted. Front desk tried very hard, to make sure that we were happy. At the buffet there is something for everyone, for example each morning fresh fruit salad, ham for British guests, bacon, eggs, pancakes and so on for Dutch hotel very Central, but quiet. A superbly managed small hotel in the middle of the old town of Funchal with direct access to the heart of the 'Zona velha'. We enjoyed every day spent there and can recommend the hotel with its international guests only recommend it. Service and helpfulness Vortbildlicher with all of our questions.
