Great hotel with lovely details! The rooms are very nicely furnished and one feels all around well. The breakfast is absolutely gigantic (all organic) with a wide selection-on request eggs and pancakes and so on. The staff are very friendly and all speak several languages. The courtyard with tables and chairs is nicely decorated and invited to relax. The nicest Hotel on our Portugal trip. Read more

The hotel was located near the downtown center and the rooms, the breakfast room, lobby and bar were furnished super nice. The service could not be better and the staff was very friendly and helpful. On our round trip in Portugal, the staff at this hotel was absolutely the best. At the reception information about sightseeing attractions including admission prices and opening hours, information about the restaurants (even in German) and we were personally escorted to our room. Ralf found the cleanliness of Hotel Albergaria do Calvario in Evora excellent. The transportation situation to and from the hotel is pretty good. The competence of the staff in their ability to communicate in other languages was excellent. There was not enough diversity in the food and drinks on offer. Both the atmosphere and the furnishings in the bar and restaurant areas were rather lacking. The rooms in Hotel Albergaria do Calvario were considered large. Read more
