The hotel was just dirty: pools, rooms, furniture in the room, mattresses-everything below normal hygiene standards as much. The room was very cold and had no-insulated, so we caught a cold from all sleeping in the freezing cold room. The front desk staff completely ignorant when you approach which write polite and friendly with a request to help with the problem and would only reenact and do something when guest would complain behave very demanding a lot or. We spend our vacation in Crete for many years this hotel and were always very satisfied. Every summer we say, that something was added or replaced. By hard-working gardeners maintained wonderful gardens and the architecture of the individual rows of bungalows. Bar-the management and all the staff, with whom we had contact, we know as friendly and efficient. Her criticism of the 'many Russians', we couldn't understand: there are regular guests with remarkably well-behaved children. Read more

It's not paradise but very similar.
The hotel is well situated with a nice view on the bay of Hersonissos.
All is done to give you the feeling you are a very special guest and not only a number.

The public areas are a bit shabby, moderate service in the restaurant. Rooms are okay. No Singles. mostly Russian families. Lean sports program, the evening shows were modest. Rough sand and rocks. The hotel was beautiful and looked like a picture postcard. There were several swimming pools and in fact we were lucky enough to have one just outside our room. The swimming pools were either fresh water or salt (sea) water so a very refreshing change from chlorine filled pools. Everything was very clean and well preserved. The staff were friendly and helpful - for example, our housekeeper noticed that the boys' sofa bed was a bit rickety and arranged for it to be replaced by two single beds without us needing to say anything; and our flight home was not until the evening of our last day and the hotel let us use another room from our normal check-out time until 4.

This is a great family hotel - we travelled with two children of 7 and 11 years but it would also be wonderful for couples as it is also very relaxing and the suroundings are beautiful.

The pools are all salt water which I hadn't realised either, and the sun beds white plastic, with plastic type canvas - not something you'd normally see in a top notch hotel.
