Hotel Alisios

We chose the hotel based on the good reviews on the Internet and were not disappointed. Albufeira, the only ten minutes away, is something to get used to for an older couple. We found in the so-called fishermen quarter a few Portuguese seeming local. This does nothing to it: the original Algarve is wonderful, we will be back. The hotel alisios is very well run and dedicated staff has the guest feel welcome. The management of the hotel is always present on the ground. Complaints were immediately dealt with and resolved. For each of the a quiet and well run hotel, I can alisios absolutely recommend. I will be in the next few days, my next vacation at the alisios book. Read more

We were greeted very friendly on our arrival. In the hotel all the staff is very helpful, friendly and has good foreign language skills. The room was small, which wasn't't so bad is however a closet with more surface to the file would be great. The bathroom was very new and nicely large. well managed small hotel (122 rooms) on cleanliness and friendliness is very important. Right on the sea front and over a hundred steps directly at the beach. Very quiet atmosphere and many regular customers. We missed a little 'holiday mood' everything was a bit reserved-no animation, no music acoustic irradiation. What the hotel to number all hotels in the Algarve made (if one the reviews on holidaycheck as a basis), remains a mystery to me after the visit. It offers beach location and relative proximity nothing (except rooms, and Oh yes, a 'indoor pool' and a bar inside was closed during the day), no garden, no pool, no shade, no seating, no restaurant/bar on the beach.
