Old villa, in some places getting old - for example marine Mammal linoleum by the stairs, but all in all charming.
there is no lift, you have to the bags in the second floor high dragged.
Rooms functional, there is also a mini bar. Good end window with very good noise Control.
air ventilation in the bathroom a bit noisy.
TV with only a few programs.
very friendly staff. However it is weak with the agreement.
For tourist probably really reasonable. For business I wouldn't recommend it.

This time we were in the room 23. Quite large, furnished nicely, large, newer bathroom, tv, minibar. We know about ten hotels in Freiburg, but this is clearly the best price/performance ratio. It was relatively central location (close to the University, various bars and cinemas, pedestrian zone around seven, eight minute walk away) and has a great breakfast (several sorts of sausage and cheese each, jams, honey, boiled eggs, different types of bread and rolls (I loved the Leach rolls), orange juice, bottled water, coffee, tea, cereal, etc. h... A very nice old hotel, which is newly renovated. Therefore it has a great atmosphere, as i'm a building lives. Especially the great tile and beautiful old wood floors. Highly recommendable. Read more

The hotel has about 20 rooms and is in a lovely old Art Nouveau building. Parking should be reserved with restaurant (cost, I think, nine euros per day), as parking spaces only limited available. The room a lovely old, renovated, floorboards and was otherwise bright and friendly. It had a tv and a stocked mini-bar. The breakfast was fabulous. Eggs, raw and cooked ham, four sorts of cheese, various sorts of cold meat, jam, different delicious bread rolls and bread (also whole wheat and leach), cereal and fruit and yogurt, orange juice...-left...
