Our Stay Here Was An Overall Good Experience. We Will Return... But Only when there is a special package; because room price does not include cost of meals.
Hopefully when we return demolition of the hotel across the street will be complete and that eye soar will be gone; along with the wild dogs and vagrants that seemed to be living there. Read more

Front desk does not bother to tell you that if you want to use the very old safe in the room, you will have to ask for a key for it which means you have to return to the front desk a second time and wait on line again.

Maybe Cartagena isn't what it used to be as a tourist destination and so it isn't well maintained but the roads and sidewalks were poor, the beach was very dirty, and you didn't get the feeling that this was a safe area.
