Very arrogant and unfriendly reception, room outdated (but room large) and partly broken (Karniesen, lamps). No treatment from complaints! Damage was during the stay not. The view under the bed confirmed the impression! Despite repeated Fragens no bathrobe for children (despite previous telephone order)! Catering varied and attractive. Spa facilities good, however no Wechselbadetücher in sauna area. Bewertungsfragebogen will probably from good reason not offered. On my Mailkritik was not reacted! Read more

We booked at short notice & chose Faistenau because it is so central in the Salzkammergut & this proved to be a very good decision! The guided walk with Andreas, the hotel owner, was the highlight of our stay & we would recommend any visitor to the Hotel to do this. The food was superb, both the buffet breakfast & evening meal were plentiful and beautifully cooked & served. The Swimming pool & sauna area's were much bigger than we expected & very bright & clean & the hotel staff were all very friendly & helpful! All in all a very lovely ... Read more

A cosy rustic hotel in which one felt very comfortable. We were several times and are always the hospitality of the staff and the Chef Andreas metric ton particularly impressed. It may be especially recommend. Weekly/daily changing animation From the Boss himself lived. Read more
