Welcome to Center Hotel Alte Spinnerei, located in the town of Burgstädt near Chemnitz. This former spinning company (1893 to 1991) was converted into a luxurious hotel during the years 1992 to 1995.

we had a weekend package booked. Very reasonably priced, but nevertheless with half board. From this, we have also been not disappointed. On two nights was the food tasted very good. The staff were friendly, but must still on the expertise. The 3 courses were served in a fairly rapidly. You had the impression, as one should go quickly. Because the hotel very large is, is the bar area not particularly cozy, although the hotel the klirrenden cold the outside prevailed, good heated was.

Closet was so small, you could not unpack our suitcases. Bathroom was not clean and extremely small. We have made a new year's Eve journey with eight people, no evening was reserved a big table for us. We were stupid in the room and had to wait, until a table for us constructed had. Food was of medium quality and really only the new year's Eve buffet was very average. Anytime again plates or cutlery. We can't recommend this hotel. Read more

We stayed new year's Eve at the hotel and can say is was okay. The staff is very friendly and nice. The celebration had shows which were good but not everyone could see you, as the celebration held in two rooms. The second room had not such a good view. The sauna is nice and large, but the showers in need of renovation. On the whole it was a great vacation. Read more

Traffic on the highway. At short notice a good four star hotel looking for nearby. Quiet room had reserved, but the main building was a total busy main road.
