We had room on the 12th floor with fantastic view of the ocean side, it was large and quiet, as some reviews stated, the noise of the street wasn't to hear almost no traffic, also is more after 10pm. The rooms were always clean, fresh towels available. The breakfast and dinner was enough and very good. There was something for every taste over there. Guests were mixed, every age group. We had two large tour groups, they were fine. Also as described, that cleared the dishes was so loud, that was nothing more listening.

Only a three-star hotel, but enough for the stay. Food (half board) little variety, but as a base for seeing the island very well. Large offer for shopping. Price/performance ratio was good. The 4 star hotel is located on a busy main road in the direction of Funchal center. There are 14 floors. All upper floors have a pretty good a partial view of the ocean.
