Our hotel opened in August 2008 after a refurbishment and offer now 31 non-smoking rooms. Some rooms with view to the nostalgic brocken steamrailway.
In our restaurant 1835 we serve light and creative food from the traditional southern German kitchen. From here you have a terrific view to the trains of the nostalgic steamrailway from the harz moutains.

Although we only had one night in the hotel slept, was our room very well-maintained former. 2 Additional beds for the children were available. The room was for 4 people still large enough, this also applies to the bathroom. Breakfast was varied, clean and delicious. The view of the train station with the steam engines was great. Read more

We had a group one night, were friendly, the staff was very nice and helped us with all our questions we had. The rooms were clean, bathroom nice spacious. Our room with a view of the train station the narrow-gauge railway-(no exhaust gases & dust of the steam locomotives) and even if, nostalgia stop! The best was the extremely wide breakfast-super good! We loved it and we should come back to Wernigerode, we know where you can get a good night with breakfast. A weekend in this hotel spent. The hotel lies somewhat aside from the centre, which one however in five minutes walk away. Directly in front of the hotel is the train station the standard of cleanliness. For fans is a stay in this hotel surely an advantage. There is a lack, the breakfast was nothing and you had even at nine o'clock in the morning only leftovers. On the second day we got up extra early, because only cheese as the day before didn't have to be. Read more

Nice hotel in a central location, right next to the train station of the, the Hotet made a clean and neat impression, single rooms are small, but completely sufficient, shower was nice and big, safe, TV, hair dryer available, from the restaurant and the breakfast room has a very nice view of the Gleisanlagen, the breakfast buffet was very good, the Hotel parking is a bit small, but you can also just opposite the train station parking, for three star top, keep up the good work!
