In dire need of a major renovation!
Our room was probably one of the largest in the hotels, if you by accident time in other room was overlooked, then you about a room in size of a closet. The cleanliness was so-so. Our heating didn't rules, the window in the bathroom so it was always open. The window was facing dreary, gray courtyard.
The front desk staff is rude and arrogant

Relatively large hotel, badly in need of renovation (see rooms)
This hotel has the 2 classes society! One of the bedrooms was a disaster, the window had a 2 -euro big hole, the heating was no way to adjust the air conditioning, so we had to walk. The floor had trash grabber under the carpet (which old and worn out). Room service was a disaster, 5 days was an empty condom wrapper (not from us) behind the curtain.
As one of our room was not in good order, we wanted to move what the front desk staff rudeness quittierten. After a long time ba... Read more

The hotel is located less than 5 minutes walk from Times Square and from the metro. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The ideal hotel for a stay in Manhattan to explore and experience. We had a room with views of Broadway and right below us was the studio, where the David Letterman show was filmed. The bar is minimalist but hey it's coctails were good and the bartender was also very nice and helpful. The "Sex and the City tour" area where we could directly at the hotel. If you want to see, it is very much recommend to the "New York pas... Read more

Seems the hotel has undergone a number of renos recently, and it's looking quite good, but there are some pretty big issues remaining - like key cards that don't always work with their new system; not getting any hot water in the shower (but it ran hot in the sink - weird); a disconnected phone (though it was plugged into the wall); and a broken towel rack in the bathroom.
