the hotel is very well maintained and freshly renovated, the staff are totally hard-working and everything is of the finest quality. Area was large, but offering a clear view, very clean, all nationalities.
Large rooms with coffee machine, safe and minibar. Large terraces and partly with pool access, super great.

A very beautiful complex, which has lost its high standards in the past months.
The Hotel will be closed end of June and the renovations have already started.
The membership with Starwood/Sheraton is cancelled, the reopening under new name is planned for December and the OWNER IS THE SAME!
Talks to the staff (in Thai) proved that many staff-employees where given notice and the results where a lack of motivation. Due to these conditions it’s impossible to maintain higher earlier standards.

The location of the hotel in the Laguna is excellent-the Poolvillas district are great. The hotel is closed from July for five months to renovation purposes. The renovation is certainly necessary to the Haupttrackts the five star standard to hold. The food in the different restaurants was very good and varied only the birds of paradise 'restaurant' seemed more like a canteen (the food tasted but good!).
The shuttle from the pool villas to the main building worked, the service was perfect there clean. Read more

We spent twelve gorgeous, beautiful days. Had we a Iceland Villa, the offered a very good standard large room, great views from the two balconies, three TVs with a video. When booking a villa is available for breakfast and use of Puccini a sort of 'happy hour' from 17 to 18 hours a day. At breakfast the possibility to order a la carte, with cocktails and snacks in the afternoon changing juices, free of charge. The area was not fully booked, beach chairs at the pool or on the beach were always available. All staff very friendly and helpful.
