... in La Gouna, the Arena Inn was 3 meters in a deep laguna. It's about the flowing water. THE laguna has a flat sandy beach and is perfect for swimming. The hotel's own beach, Zeytona Beach, had a shuttle bus connection as well as a taxi boat. The beach wasn't so good but bathing was still very enjoyable. The hotel pool is heated in winter (27). Pool chairs with cushions and towels were available for free. It's a 5 minute walk to town and there were enough shopping possibilities, restaurants, and even a museum, Aquarium, and casino. Excu... The Arena Inn was a surveyable, confortable hotel and not just a big square building. The building was very pretty and the area well-kept. Downtown, the harbor, and beach were easily accessible and the laguna was great to see! We booked 2 weeks all inclusive (double room, flight from Köln) for 700€ per person and really can't complain about the price! The opinions of this hotel are very varied, but many people forget what country they're in, in another culture, and how much the Egyptians earn and how much they themselves paid for their holi... Nice relaxing holiday in Arena Inn. Atmosphere lovely, food and drinks yummy, rooms, corridors, pool etc sparkling clean, gardens beautiful, a 15 min walk to nearest beach with a pontoon ride for free to other side of lagoon, restaurant looks out over lagoon nice views in evening time, close to \"downtown\" El Gouna but far enough away so as you do not hear noise from pubs/discos, not great for families with very small children/toddlers/preschoolers as playground is too dangerous and paddling pool also not separated well from main pool. The complex is not very large -145 rooms, divided on two floors To reach the rooms in the ground floor all guests have to pass by the dining room. It is certainly somewhat louder there. We were on the second floor -the further away from the steps, the better. The rooms are not very large, but sufficient, very clean. If you have a room with a view of the pool, the view from the window in the evening is GREAT and it is WONDERFUL from the dining room too. The many lights are refected in the water - wonderful atmosphere. The food is very good, ... Continue reading the hotel review,in March 07Gisela, Age 51-55, CoupleRead 792 times - 100% helpful
