Hotel Astoria is very centrally located, centre is reachable. Downside it is, that the hotel has no garage and valet parking that is not mentioned on their Web site and by email no one receives information. The fact is however, that the car is parked in a garage nearby Marriott Hotel, which is very expensive. Further downside is, that in the majority of rooms don't have air conditioning system is available (and in the summer is the unbearable, a sauna right) and that the rooms are very noisy and you are on the side of the road with windows o... A hotel in the best location. Everything can be reached to foot in the immediate vicinity. An older hotel, but clean and everything what you need for a short stay. We had booked without breakfast, as it so many cafes in Vienna are, where you very good breakfast einehmen can. Is really to be recommended. Exceptionally friendly staff. Very friendly front desk with Viennese charm. Have an upgrade-although we not have asked for-and got the Junior suite with view on the corner carinthia Str. The bathroom was new and therefore top! One comes from the door of the hotel and is in the middle of the pedestrian district. Top location!
It came with the breakfast to bottlenecks unfortunately partly. As background the morning we had classical music. We found it classes, because it was simply to the atmosphere of a city trip to Vienna.
