I had this best Western definitely, because the location enjoyed. Okay location is great, 3 minutes walk from the train station in the center from Zagreb. On foot you can reach the main shopping streets as well as sights visit. The hotel offers own parking. Breakfast buffet was okay for a four-star hotel but not quite satisfactory. One day the whole buffet not really inviting. the sausage and the ham for example was already a little angefaerbt, everything was already longer at the buffet. you could go to this day hardly staff see. The rooms are not very large. But they are very functional equipped and so nevertheless one feels himself very well. The technology and the whole house is of the finest-electric blinds, motion detector lights etc controlled.
The whole hotel made the impression, as if it had just been renovated.
In the pedestrian zone of the old town is five minutes. The location is very convenient.

This Best Western is a nice standard hotel with small - but clean - rooms.
The rate is not realy cheap, but looking to the average rates of hotels in Zagreb, it´s still OK.
The staff is friendly and english is spoken. The breakfast at hotel astoria is good. The hotel is situated near the central train station and to the city center ( 10 min walk).
You should keep care, that you won´t get a rooom to the noisy street.
