We were for ten days after a round trip in hotel serendib.
Since we after the tour, no major excursions wanted to do more, five to seven days would have been enough.
I can not really say something bad, but we were also not impressed. More like a cafeteria in dining area, in the quiet area it is on each case worth. Food is varied and good, but nothing special. In addition to the pastries at the breakfast, the rooms are great!

On our trip we have chosen us on the very good reviews for this hotel and we were disappointed not. The food is really great. The room (superior) are comfortably furnished, the bathroom on the ground floor were enough from the size. Above are upgraded room the superior-have a tiny bathroom. We then spent the night in the 5 star Heritance Kandalama Hotel, Dambulla, which was superb, it is an eco friendly hotel in the middle of the forrest, you are surrounded by trees hills, monkeys and birds, it is just excellent.

We read alot of reveiws before we came, if your looking for relaxing holiday in a nice friendly hotel in a beautifull location this is the place, we met 3 couples which keep coming back to the hotel and we will defently be back - in March 10
All the staff in the hotel were friendly & helpful, the beach bar was a great place to watch the sun set, evenings were fairly quiet but overall this was a fantastic destination & hotel for a relaxing holiday

I arrived at the Serendib after a 3 hour transfer from Colombo to be greeted with a welcome drink at reception, I had emailed the hotel in advance and asked for an upper floor room, however, they did not have one available and I was given room 7, a ground floor room,they did give me the option of moving, but once I had settled in I was quite happy with the room, it had a sea view, with a terrace and small garden area and seating.

There is a functional swimming pool and a nice grassy area part shaded by palm trees where wooden sunloungers are located which is a great place to sunbathe or read a book in peaceful surroundings. - in January 10
