Hotel Azalea Beach

Hotel is situated directly between Gran Via & the Sol. Ideal as a base for sightseeing on the day & tapas bars, night clubs in the night. Just what you need if you are on a weekend with friends in Madrid, & the hotel anyway only needed to sleep. Great staff, we booked two double rooms, but we could without problems on the spot on a 3 -bed room change. Room was clean, fresh towels every day. That one knew in the southern countries not so exactly with the hotel sternen adopted, should already be common currency. The complex the hotel consists of well-kept lawns and trees, as well as two pools and a mini playground for children. The whole thing is fenced about 160 of small apartments. well proportioned two-storey apartments. I`ve given this hotel the top rating of 6 suns because I truly believe that there is not a better 3 star hotel anywhere near Nerja. Over the winter months the hotel was closed for refurbishment and boy what a good job they`ve done.Each room has been decorated and all new furniture and fittings added,this and a flat screen tv on which you can receive various channels.There`s subdued lighting as a final expensive looking touch.The hotel has also installed new bathroom suites in each room and ... The wall separating the bathroom and the bedroom was chipped and moldy. Tap didn't produce any cold water, problem with the telephone. Replacement room was okay, on the balcony some tiles were missing, yet another problem with the telephone. The fridge overheated after a week. the hotel lies very nice direct at the beach located in the western part of Nerja, all rooms have view of the sea and calming sounds to sleep. the rooms were RIU typically relatively large and clean.
