Very nice, central hotel. Nice and surroundings great possibilities for excursions - also in February. The friends places are all well-equipped with public transport reachable. The Zitronenfest in Menton is worth a visit. The carnival is matter of taste. Read more

Top location, beautiful view of the rooms, elegant lobby. Nice new breakfast room, extremely nice friendly staff in all areas (Front desk, restaurant, maids). The Rest of the hotel (Hallways, rooms, stairs) is old and strongly worn out, also the rooms even, the furniture, balconies velvet railing. The is however on the Cote d'Azur are the rule rather than the exception. We believe, as long as it is clean, it is okay. And for the price anyway. No four stars hotel (three stars very comfortable). Rooms are very shabby (shower head was very furred up) & partly wallpaper dirty. Front desk staff was very unmotivated. Unfortunately the check-in. Positive: the location of the hotel is however excellent! Read more

The rooms with windows with frosted glass - you couldn't see and not possible to open the windows. As the room strong smell of smoke, for the next day I was promised a different room. I should my bags in the room and in the course of the next day you wanted to bring the luggage to another room. On my return I was told my bags was not gripped!!! There was no one ready with me to go to the room and to verify that the final bags since the morning was packed and ready. On my complaints they reacted rage and rude. Read more

The hotel is in dire need of a major renovation. Some rooms are OK, but the majority is "scrap\": ancient zusammengemixte furniture, mold in the bathroom, only frosted window in the inner courtyard which can open, rooms too small ( no capacity for a chair at the desk).
