Hotel BQ Apolo

The three star hotel Bq apolo lies only a bus station away from the airport and right on the water. From the balcony you can see the planes, but it is not overly loud. The staff was very friendly, the hotel clean and tidy and there is a luggage storage and shower for guests with late flight. The food was okay, overall a very good value for money. Read more

Basic Hotel. The rooms are rather small and very simply equipped. Quite old-fashioned facilities. Bathroom was quite large. The hotel is very noisy, even with the windows closed you can hear very clearly the street noise (this far more than the noise from the airport). The Apollo hotel is a good middle class hotel. Staff very friendly, cleanliness was good, the meals varied buffet was prepared, everything was good. Great is the proximity to the very clean beach undschönen. Despite its proximity to the airport we didn't feel disturbed, all in all, the Hotel Apollo is highly recommended. Read more

Stairs/hallways have hospital character room very small, bathroom door can't be closed, since room was so small. Catering very bad in terms of quality, selection, variety and presentation. Read more

Pros are cleanliness, the situation in can pastilla (for trip willing), the uncomplicated and fast Anreisemöglichkeit and the good price/performance ratio. Not so good: only one access possibility for buffet (this does not mean two sides possible), that means in the evening if necessary queue; 19 euros for a week safety deposit box was a bit much.
