The hotel is in a wonderful location right on the sea and has its own bathing jetty and a sunbathing area. The rooms are spacious and tastefully equipped and all have a balcony or a portion (with lounge chairs). The terrace as well as the inner courtyard are very nice and invite you to eat or drink. The food (dinner à la carte) tasted good and the price fair (upper resources segment).
The breakfast buffet offered a very nice selection of cheese and sausages in particular.

The hotel is situated on Lake murten-at least in our immediate room had a direct view of the lake. In the town of murten footpath along the lake very quaint. Within ten minutes you had a great choice of restaurants and shops.
The hotel is very modern renovated-sometimes great bright colors, but very tasteful-everything was clean and tidy.
Front desk was super nice and friendly, as if we would return.
Rates are for Swiss standards cheap-even a 'mini-breakfast' is included in the room rate.

Great location right on the lake with many sport possibilities. Furthermore, we were able to put our motorcycles under roof. From the room we had a wonderful view of the lake murten, sunset inclusive! Murten is a five minute walk reachable. Directly at the hotel am see is a small restaurant with delicious snacks and cozy atmosphere...
