Bali Hyatt in sanur we had booked, to relax during a week of a trip through Java/Bali. Let us take advance, that the hotel buildings are not necessarily of architectural beauty, but they looked in the wonderful gardens. Hotel Bali Hyatt is a very nice hotel. The large garden is fantastic with ponds laid out. We had a room on the top floor with a view of the lawn and the ocean. In contrast to legian sanur is quiet. If you want to see both places, should stay in legian and in sanur. Sanur has a nice flair, is however also, of course, a bit touristic. Rates of the hotel are Hyatt standard. So we ate outside. Hotel Bali Hyatt is absolutely to be recommended! Beautiful garden, very friendly staff, good atmosphere... Almost we had from the partly negative critic may be tempted to go to another hotel. Bali Hyatt has us however convinced we are overjoyed and finally, we ended up in this hotel. We can recommend it to 100%!

Old but very nice hotel with a garden off the floor.
The rooms are nice, large and each day cleaned very well (even without tips).
The staff is from the front desk to the room boy to the staff at the different bars and restaurants was very friendly and courteous.

In summary this is a nice hotel with a little overpriced room rate, great grounds, lovely pool, big beach, some ugly concrete buildings, resort feel has a certain charm and there are lovely touches such as the balinese offering in your room etc, but beware of extortionate food and drinks prices in resort (swim up bar was £4 for a sml can of lager! - in March 10

We were greeted by friendly staff in national dress who gave us a garland of frangipani and a much needed cold drink, then a member of staff took our photo and later in the week it appeared in our room in a lovely frame - a gift from the hotel - Our room was very large with kingsize bed and well equipped - french doors led on to private tce looking out onto to a tropical paradise - every member of staff throughout the hotel put themselves out for our comfort - the hotel was very safe with guards on every entrance and along the beach - we were located centrally on the main street so had easy access to all the local restaurants and shops - the only downside being the price of wine which was about £8 for vinegar or £25/£30 for equivalent to Blossom Hill - We can highly recommend Bistro 95 and Coriander for delicious Indonesian and western food or Masimos for an upmarket Italian night out - A full day excursion with Waka Tours up into the rice terraces and rain forest was great value for money with an excellent local guide

Having sampled a taste of Nusa Dua via the free shuttle bus to the Grand Hyatt on offer (we felt it was quite artificial) and Kuta (which was mayhem) we were content with our choice of Sanur for our resort and we wouldn't hesitate to return to the Bali Hyatt if we head back down that way again. - in July 10
