We stayed a week at the intercontinental resort in Bali and we really enjoyed the hotel. After we were already there in 2004 to Bali to explore, it should go this time only for relaxation. We were a bit skeptical based on some of the reviews but, if the standard nor from the year 2004 is, but we were not disappointed at all. As A Last Resort. We wish the hotel a happier in music, it would be best, at the club pool and in the club lounge on music to do. Great location on the most beautiful beach in Bali. We can definitely recommend this hotel. The fish market, right on the beach about two kilometer walk down not to be missed. It was our second visit to this property and surely not the last. In the reviewer's opinion, the pool and the size of the well-kept area invites you to relax and a couch is always guaranteed. The Intercontinental is a dream Hotel... Perfect ambience, helpful staff. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and even in the restaurants one can eat very well. The rooms are very clean and nicely equipped. You feel comfortable all around. There are plenty of cozy places and despite the size of the hotel is not too busy. Very nice hotel right on the beach. The beach is one of the better beaches jimbaran around Kuta. Compared to Kuta beach is clearly emptier and has more flavor. The rooms are very nicely equipped and exceptionally large. The hotel attaches great importance to details. Inter Conti convinced through its high quality. But the prices for food and drinks are extremely high. On the beach in a fish restaurant food, about 50-70% saves time there. Read more

And don't expect for waiters to go around on the beach asking if you'd like anything to drink- I was disappointed again that this service was not offered, and the beach/pool area bartenders were few and far between and a decent walk away if you're anywhere on the beach.

The room service was terrible- my caesar salad came to me warm, wilted in dressing, and I got almost instantly sick for hours and had to take an Immodium--who knows if it was leftover from someone else but I probably shouldn't have eaten it.

The hotel is luxurious and caters for your every need - we stayed 'club' which we would reccomend to anyone considering staying here - the club rooms are beautiful (Aveda products, rain shower, butler service, nicely furnished, Sony flatscreen with DVD etc), the club lounge does complimentary drinks (including great cocktails) and evening snacks as well as made to order snacks in the daytime, afternoon tea, and breakfast. - in June 10
