The Caribou Lodge is set in the extension of the main shopping street of Banff. From this vantage point is the city center within walking distance. The lobby and a wood-burning fireplace well done, the rooms are average.
The rooms are average, the bathroom however modern and spacious. Especially the soap RockyMountain soap Factory we pleased and we just for our favorite in Banff as souvenirs to set. If a mattress now is good or not, is more subjective. However, we have slept on both not very good.

The hotel entrance is of Banff and not to be overlooked. Rooms are okay and fell needs. It would be a shame to sit in the hotel room with such a beautiful area. Breakfast was good but in the peak season close to the buffet. Nice and helpful staff. Read more

The hotel is good, the restaurant (the keg) very good. Hotel is larger than you think the rooms and especially the bathroom wasn't that big. Some small things could be better, but overall the hotel is highly recommended. For 90 €in Banff probably won't find better. Read more

The hotel is at the beginning of the main street of Banff. The "downtown" took either 10 minutes down the road or take the free bus stops outside the hotel. We always walked because only a stone's throw away. There is a steak house in the hotel, which was also a great breakfast at fair prices. The pool is very clean and perfect for relaxing in. If you are in the winter season to Banff for skiing or Sunshine Village, so you should (if possible) avoid the weekend from Friday to Sunday, as the Tagesski very shabby-guests from Calgary the skiing area. In case you do not late. Around 8. 45 or 9 . 00 hours is top of the ski area, you really long wait at least be somewhere to park. this hotel is a perfect location for visiting in banff 10 min walk to shops and restaurants or use bus which hotel give you free pass for spa was excellent the hotel restaurant was very good the food was great we even saw a dear oppisite hotel that just walked across road with no cares thought hotel was very good value for money
