-although we had our air conditioner break down three times, and our toilet overflow twice, the maintenance people were there instantly as soon as we called the front desk about this -our flight out of Montreal was flawless as was the service from TMR tours -daytrip to Machambo volcano and ziplining was well organized, well run and enjoyable Things we disliked: -no palapas on the beach or any type of covering so you either sat fully exposed to the sun or way back away from the water under the trees -lots of stingrays in the water and in fact, someone we knew got 'stung' the week we were there -the beach goes on forever but is not overly exciting, nothing to look at and very few people on it so quite boring -bungalow room was very very dark and only had energy effiecient lightbulbs making it very hard to see much at night (I think this would be very difficult for older guests) -bungalows outdated and dark (not much natural light coming in) -resort in general was outdated and parts need urgent upgrading/renos (ie/ bottem of the pool etc) -the gym/weight room is old and in the open air which makes it difficult to work out in the heat -the buffet was monotonous and as a vegetarian, I was very very limited (pretty much stuck with tossed salad and potatoes every meal).
