I cannot explain myself what guests always fault. I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The room in the bungalow was clean, daily fresh clean towels. The food was wide and good. There was hardly any variation, but you had a large selection of hot and cold dishes. Furthermore, there were also the attendance in the à la carte restaurants on the way. For Cuban standards the hotel solymar is one of the better houses. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, even without a 'tip'. Can the hotel unfortunately not recommend. In no case a 4.5 star hotel! The area is run down and many offers (bars, pool) were not available. The food is not very varied and could hardly be enjoyed. In the dining room there was mass processing-This reminded rather of a refectory. The bathroom in our room was an absolute impertinence.
