Come already for years to different times to this hotel and find there always nice. In February we were there and unfortunately were a few tourist since, mostly golf clubs, who were very loud and the bar emptied... Due to its close proximity to the beach for a beach holiday. Very quiet hotel, no pushy entertainment during the day and the entertainment shows through on-site staff. Evening dancing to live music often monotonous. Breakfast buffet not great but perfectly adequate. In the immediate vicinity many small restaurants with moderate prices. Very well managed, but comfortable casual hotel with direct access to the beach. Room with sea view is highly recommended, as it had a great view (in the upper floors). Despite visited mostly by English, it was very quiet. The quality of the food was absolutely in order. For us in the evening was always something delicious. From the hotel one arrives with a few steps to the beautiful beach, which was also very clean. All in all, it was the perfect hotel for a relaxing beach holiday. Clean hotel directly on a clean beach with a beautiful garden area. In the near vicinity are located a few Apartmenthochhäuser, but the atmosphere couldn't hurt. The local police are hopeless (we had to spent hours in the station with interpreters to fill out forms which are only in Portugese) the staff were apologetic however 2 months later we are still waiting for Pestana's insurers Generali to get in touch and settle our claim (we're still €1000 out of pocket) and the hotel seems reluctant to do anything to help despite repeated requests.
