This historic hotel has maintained its fine decor in very good condition. It is scrupulously clean with lots of light in the rooms and public areas. Breakfast offerings were very diverse and fresh. Dining room staff at dinner were superb! Their special teas and tea ceremonies were new to me and it added a nice relaxing touch to the meal. My deluxe room overlooked the lake. As I have taken part at the Switzerland Meeting throphy and have been invited by the hotel it should be normal to give a feedback when asked for. The Beau Rivage Palace is an outstanding hotel. Unfortunately the pool has been under construction during my stay. The only point not satisfying was the service during breakfast as no table was available, if if booked in advance, the waitress did not understand english well enough and it took a long time to find a solution. Fantastic hotel with individual touch and irreproachable service. Room is superb, with absolutely magnificent bed and breath-taking view. Service is really good, though a bit slow with check-in at reception. But otherwise very good.
