Hotel Bedford

I (from Austria) booked with friends the hotel bedford for a city break! It is a an ageing hotel, after a renovation again its 4 stars could get! The hotel itself is located in a great location(in the middle of in the center-grand place about 4 oom). The rooms are shabby but clean the carpet is visibly worn and must be replaced. Otherwise but OK. The breakfast deserves it but its 4 *. On café, tea, cocoa, sausage, cheese ham, cereals, scrambled eggs( scrambled egg) etc. You will find everything. This hotel is because of its location ( only 5 minutes' walk from manekken Manneken Pis ) very recommendable. The room/ bathroom was very clean and spacious. The furniture and the carpet but already a bit shabby, but because of the cleanliness not disturbing. Also the breakfast was hearty and very good. For a city trip to Brussels this hotel really recommendable. Read more

The hotel was an impertinence!!! Room was dirty and dusty, furniture worn. Beds were worn out.. smells in the hallway, room and bathroom. Garage only for small cars. about 1.80 meters didn't fit, and so on... Only good point: The receptionist was friendly.. I could have spend the night at the ETAP. ... a group bus '3 days highlights of Belgium' in Brussels. The Hotel Bedford can only praise. The cosy furnishings in the old English style with a lot of polished mahogany woods and brass was very inviting. The new carpets, wallpapers and pictures from radiate harmony. Gladly we for breakfast in the morning in the attractive room with nice tables and chairs. At the buffet you will find everything that makes a good breakfast: eggs, bacon, fruit salad, sausage, cheese, etc. in the room there is a fridge, stationary luggage rack, decent Kleisersch... The location of the hotel is excellent, the sights are easily accesible on foot most. The rooms are relatively small, the bathroom was adequate and clean. The mini bar was available, but always empty. In the hall and in the toilets there seems to be no air conditioning, the room had a small, secluded catch, ratternder and noisy rattle nThe HVAC replacement. Our rooms were on the fourth floor, we were woken by the garbage every day for about five o'clock early. Read more
