Hotel location
The Hotel Belvédère occupies the best location in Wengen. As Wengen is a virtually traffic free resort the hotel is absolutely quiet at all times of the day and night. The village centre and the Männlichen cable car is just 3 minutes and the railway station and children’s skigarden 5 minutes walk away on virtually level ground. The Hotel Belvédère offers an incomparable view of the Jungfrau massiv, the Breithorn chaine and the whole Lauterbrunnen Valley.

We found Hotel Belvedere welcoming and with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was large and clean and with spectacular views. Although only a 3star hotel it compared favourably with the 4star that we stayed at the previous year for a walking holiday. Meals were buffet style with more than enough choice and very good quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as were other guests in the hotel. The hotel room was spacious and clean; staff were very friendly and accommodating; the hotel was not modern but had character which gave it more charm. They collected and took luggage to/from the station and it was only a 5-10 mins walk from the station just back from the main street.
