Our location therefore is ideal for a short holiday, for vacation, for your meetings with business partners, company events, seminars & incentives. In Kiel the “Birke” is a 8 minutes drive away from downtown and the habour. Or 15 minutes by bus, which is leaving just around the corner. The hotel location is surrounded by the woods, where you could go for a walk, jogging or nordic walking.
The train station and cruises line terminals in kiel are 15 minutes away by car, the international airport in Hamburg is 45 minutes away and the airport in Lübeck 90 minutes.

Our served meals and drinks reflect the diversified nuances of „before and behind the dyke“. All meals are freshly prepared by our cuisine team. For this we use at least 60% regional and seasonal products.
Also the drinks are originated from the North – but also from the Southern part of Germany, from Europe and some we even get from overseas.

Rooms and accomodation at the hotel
82 comfortable rooms (with shower baths, minibar, satellite- and pay-TV, modem connection, wireless LAN and non-smoking rooms) in warm shades and lumbers - and silent.
Some rooms also have an air-conditioning system for the hot summer. Even in the Northern German way as also the green-white beach chairs at the house, in order to stock up in some sunshine.
