It was on Tuesday night around 9:30PM when the presenter announced that the rest of the show is not for little kids, so my wife has took our 5 and 8 year olds to the room, with our 15 year old daughter decided to join them. So only me and my 16 year old son stayed for the rest of the show. Now I wish we didn't.... My English I was able to communicate as the only Germans. German wasn't't spoken, not even in the front desk. Only Canadian guests. Get used to everything. The only German in this hotel it is isolated. Only guests from Canada, Italy and Russia. Didn't speak German. A touch of Diskremenierung spread out. Locals guests were from the hotel wegdelegiert, put it mildly. There is something for those price better and if you want to get to know Cuba, should a different area, where locals are not insulated. So I would recommend this hotel not again book, to far from the airport, in the area there's nothing going on, the hotel itself only in plastic cups, also in the evening, at the beach to few couches and hard and uncomfortable, there you can not see Cuba, as is already perfect Varadero and havana, Cayo Largo is also a dream. It was a pleasant and good holiday at the hotel. 90% Canadians, what was very pleasant and also has promoted friendships. A very helpful and friendly staff is especially commendable. There is a Club next door called the Le Jungle, (Canadian girls - don't go there on your own unless you are with guys or Cubans that you can trust) It's raw and the locals mostly hang out there so you will stand out a lot.

So the food as per the doctor was to be avoid and the limitation was rice and chicken :(, On the positif side the room was clean and the maids was wonderful, very friendly, there was a bit of repair in our section but fortunately did not made that much noise, most likely its the maid talking loud between them that woke you up. - in March 10
hi first of all its to long by bus one and a half hour on bumpy roads ,plane was delayed got to the hotel at 0100 am ,check in was long getting to the room smelt like cigars or something weird, i tried to call the front desk phone did not work, tried to open patio door needed 2 people to open it,beds were OK room look clean,,so the next morning went to frt desk to ask for another room got one but was just as bad as the one we had,no bugs in room,,bring off little mosquito at nite,,the food well that's a hole different story half the resort got what we think is food poisoning,cause we all got sick the same time besides that we had wonderful weather and if you go bring bug repellent and lysol to spray the room with and its fyi the phone was never fixed i complained every day but hey its Cuba we will never go back there again ,animation is not very good bring books ,cards games. - in November 09

The pasta and omelettes were great as were the pizza but somewhere there was a problem because I got food poisoning on Sat and was sick for 3 days I was not the only one we talked to quite a few people who were also affected and I would say about 50 % of the people there got either that or Montezuma's revenge (my wife still has it a week later) I hope this was just a bad batch of something because over all I loved it there and despite the sickness would go back, however I would not eat the fish and would be very careful with other items. - in March 10
