The hotel Bristol is a ***hotel with ****comfort, situated in the centre of Zermatt but nevertheless it’s quiet. It’s the ideal starting point for skiers and hikers as all cablecar stations can be reached easily by foot. The house is a family hotel.
In the evening after a wonderful day spent outside you can relax in our comfortable hall with bar.

The hotel lies in the center zermatt and isn't far from the pedestrian precinct away.
The room was a bit small for 3 people but modern decor.
Fernsehreceiver was after 2 days was broken but very fast against a other device replaced, which was well worth praising.
Spa facilities is a bit too small but not further tragic.
The food ( 5-course menu) was excellent and the wait staff was very friendly.
On the whole it was a great vacation in the very expensive Switzerland. Read more

We visited a friend and stayed in Zermatt night in this hotel. The hotel is very central location. About 3 minutes the Migros and around the corner there are various bars.
the room was very clean. Only the bathroom is somewhat small.
the breakfast exceeded my expectations. There were various sorts of bread, muesli, fruit juices, Crepes, eggs 3 minutes, scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cuts eTC.
I recommend this hotel to anyone.

... the reasons, why the hotel, no absolute Spitzenbewertung gets. Another reason is the ambience of the hotel... it is missing somewhat completely. It may be due to the unusual arrangement of the furniture as already mentioned in other reviews... i can't say it at all.
The other is the size of the room... we had under Fluchtplan the largest room in the floor and next to baby crib and sofa bed did not pull much space.
The games room was relatively miekrig-nice though, that one was.

Strange hotel-strange atmosphere. The room was newly equipped with parquet, the walls were painted, the bathroom (in absolute Miniversion) newly renovated-but Oh what a fright-the old furniture, the old lighting, the doors, the mini bar, the wiring at the tv equipment, a seating possibility-which, if you want to sit the second person? -a rather dissonant ambience, the only shake my triggered.
