We have only the reception, our room and the breakfast room as we visited the hotel only to sleep. The cleanliness of the general facilities are no reason to complain. We had only booked the room without additional services. The breakfast was so not included in our rate. We booked at check-in at about 8 pounds per person. Once you paid directly with the breakfast costs about £11 per person.

I spent a week in England and had my last night in Manchester. The hotel is very central and is within easy walking distance to everything very good. The hotel is very beautifull and the staff very kind and professional but the problem regards the quitness of the rooms: the hotel is situated up to a club and the music is so loud that you have no possibility to sleep; when another room shuts the door is like they are throwing a bomb in yours and if like happend to us you have noisy people in the room next is like they are making party in your room

We stayed in an executive room and the first thing we noticed when we walked in was the filthy dirty windows, I have never seen windows so dirty in my life, there was also 2 broken spindles on the bannister and when I made drinks in the morning there were 2 big chips in one of the cups and had to drink from the side of the cup, for a hotel that looks so grand from the outside and corridors it was very disappointing to have these problems, in the morning we decided to go out for breakfast as the dirty windows made me think if the kitchen was clean, I would not stay here again as do not feel that it was value for money as we have stayed in the palace hotel and the normal room there was alot bigger than the executive suite - in June 11

Complained and asked to be moved to a different room so got put on the 6th floor which was better but not great, lift did not go that far up so alot of stairs to walk up with luggage, there was a massive window but huge grey building blocking any view (if they knocked that building down could have had a view over picadilly gardens which would have been lovely).
