When I read the ratings, I was not sure, what to expect. The rooms were clean. The joints in the bathroom weren't nice ideal, but for a three star hotel ok. It is paid attention to cleanliness and also renovated and restored.
The ratings are in my opinion not justified, it is a three star hotel and not with German standards to compare. I have seen much worse hotels.

The rooms has 25 years ago for improvement. The same goes for the entire hotel. With worn out furniture I have no problem with that, but it should be clean. At the view on my bed, I was not sure if the pillows or a Blumenbuquet. When I walked into the bathroom I thought I would have found the Amber room. To shower I have two plastic shower caps on the feet pulled out of fear of Mycotic infections.
