Beautiful Area! The food was not good. Better Book without the meals! Tv in the room with four channels (ARD, ZDF! RTL and sat) 15.00 euro. The safe cost 20 €rental fee as well. Several pools, whereby one was heated. Another pool quite a lot of missing tiles. Read more

The hotel, the food, the staff and everything was okay. The hotel and the surrounding area was noisy. If you want to have a bathing beach not crowded by bus in another Bay. There were two couples resulting in hotel with all inclusive. The hotel consists of two former hotels, which are connected by a small bridge. There is also a separate block of apartments. We had our room directly over the entrance/desk and the other couple in the 'other' Hotel. Our rooms were large, both bedroom/living room, bathroom, and a balcony. Outrageous charges for tv and refrigerator on request. The beach was a mix of cultures, but the loud tens the Russians are otherwise the beach is really great. If you want to go on excursions, please take the bus or convertible bus, you can get it cheaper for 1.75 EURO you can see the whole East Coast of Cala there to Cala mondrago. Read more

Don'T believe the bad reviews,we stayed at the costa del sur hotel for 2 weeks all inclusive, had brill time , food was excellent lots of choice and always hot to get to the restaurant you have to walk down some steps which the older people found hard, hotel rooms are cleaned every day but are a bit dated and the balconies are tiny that is the only negative thing I can think of about the holiday.

as mentioned earlier, the hotel was hard to fault, with 90% friendly staff, VERY good & varied food, despite previous reviews (the room cost us - 2 adults & 2 small boys - £50 per night, ALL INCLUSIVE! - in April 10

When we asked about hiring bikes the reception staff went out of their way to help us - arranging for the hire company to collect us from the hotel and giving us a map with reccommended bike ride routes marked.

myself, husband and daughter age 11 stayed at the Cala Gran Apts for 10 nights, its in a great location just 2 mins from beach and a great selection of shops, bars, restaurants etc Apartments themselves are a little dated we have a top floor one which was OK air conditioning was a great bonus as was free! - in October 09

If the hotel was to shut for a month or two to rectify these problems, i am sure the hotel would be considerably better with people wanting to return again, however, if the hotel remains the same with no changes, i will not be returning again.

Ok the food is NOT traditional English but who wants to go on hols and eat the same food? Can thoroughly recommend the Starfish Boat, its good fun ogling @ all the multi million villas perched on the rocks.

Each hotel has its own pool, and you can also use the pools further behind which belong to the Cala Gran Apartments, the best pool for Under 5s was the one behind the main Cala Gran building.
