it's worth it to special specials to look for. We had a weekend special, so we got an upgrade: luxury double room with castle view including breakfast for the same price, which otherwise the standard double room. Due to the availability of town even in a fantastic beautiful suite Hotel wiesenhof in pertisau with a beautiful view. The service was fabulous. A very nice, charming, but there were also older Hotel in ideal location. Serious renovation last? A lot of it is justifiable, not much (scruffy carpets, loose shower linkage). Our 'early bird' -bonus: room right next to a loud motor. For special price (107 pounds including breakfast) acceptable, otherwise rather not! Read more

The hotel is a museum. I don't mean the condition of the hotel, but the fact that this is a former old train station is Edinburgh. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful and feels evening when she illuminate almost even better than during the day. But it is also worth the whole once inside really expanded somewhat to look at. Definitely take a room on the executive floor with view of the castle - new spacious rooms with great amenities
Executive room only recommendable, separate living area - two TVs - and great bed/what more could you ask for

Exel duck location below the castle. In the immediate vicinity many shopping and entertainment possibilities. Traditional hotel with an appropriate atmosphere. Location is good for shopping, but if you are out of towner, and have your own car driving in a strange city, you'd be lost before you could find the hotel even with sat nav assistant, the traffic system of the city around the hotel is confusing .
