The hotel in general
Total land size is 6,000 squaremeters with 6 meters elevation from the beach on which 70 percent of the land use for beautiful tropical landscape and the 30 percent use for villas,pool,restaurant and coffee shop.Most of the structures are made of hardwoods.There are only 5 staged ethnical wooden villas with 2 bedrooms each and 2 natural stone villas,all beachfront sunset view.Distance between villas in average is 6 meters for privacy.The back to nature concept is well applied in this resort.Construction start in 2003 and finished end of 2005 in which most of the times are used for landscaping.Start operating in mid 2006.
Hotel location
Located in front of Candikusuma Beach,Desa Candikusuma,Jembrana county,West Bali.Small simple and old fishermen village,open green areas and the sea are the neigbourhood and surrounding nature.The nearest city is Negara,about 15 minutes distance by car/motorcycle.Distance from the international airport is about 110 km or about 2 hours 20 minutes along the south coast of Bali island.
Service at the hotel
All the villa’s employees are simple local peoples from Candikusuma Village as this is one of the villa development objective.They are good peoples,very friendly and able to serve satisfactorily but none of them speaking foreign language well.However,we treat our guests as our own family and we always do our best to make our family safe and happy.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Serving only original Indonesian food.All food materials are prepared from the local village suppliers such as vegetables,fruits and seafood.Ours may not be the best in term of fancy and modern serving manners but surely fresh and hygienically prepared.Another thing is that they are fairly priced as family priced.
For drinks we serve beers and softdrinks.Mineral drinking waters are free of charge for our villa guests as much as they want.We also serving special Indonesian original green or black tea and the most exotic coffee in the world which is Civet Coffee/Coffee Luwak.Again,all are fairly priced,family priced.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Sports : we do not have in-house sports facilities,only a pingpong table is available.Jogging track is the quiet beachsand itself.Jungle trekking,fishing or tennis court can be organized.Snorkling spots are just in front of the villas.Due to hygienical matter,we recommend our guests to bring their own snorkels.
Entertainment : bull race which is the only place in whole Bali (seasonal) where the circuit is just at distance walk,traditional Balinese arts and live music or just sightseeing some villages nearby include Palasari Catholic Church,the oldest in Bali and one of the most artistic church structure.
Pool : 50 sqm size meant for just relaxing,having cool beers and the sunset.

Chanikusuma Beach Resort is a beautiful, peaceful retreat, away from all the tourist traps. The staff are wonderful, so sincerely friendly and helpful. The in-house restuarant was not fully up and running whilst we were there, but their coffee and breakfast pancakes were to die for. If you are looking for somewhere to hide from the rat race, then this is truly the place to go. It is very simple, clean, comfortable accomodation and there's miles of quiet beach to walk. It would also be the ideal retreat for artists or writers. Read more

Very beautifull new wooden villa's with 2 bedrooms and a nice bathroom a big livingroom with a nice balcony . Also the stone villa's are nice.

Very nice oceanfront resort for the relaxing holiday. A nice team, a nice owner, the always helped and valuable information. Try the coffee ( and pleasure - Kopi Luwak)! With the locals we could get to the fishing or us the Perlenzucht - about 100 meters away in the sea look. Next to the complex there's a local seafood restaurant - just go there - order - and will deliver. Read more
