in the November we were for 2 weeks cape Sienna-our first Thailand stay. The transfer from the airport cost 1100 BHT. What, as we afterwards said, surely 300 BHT too much was. Now the first thing you see, if you walk out of the lift, is a stunning view of the sea and the beach of Kamala. We were greeted with towels and a tea welcome. Relatively new and very stylish hotel facility at Kamala beach with stunning views on the sea (from the front desk, pool, restaurant, pool bar and also the rooms). After this hotel direct at the beach is, for the time I would stay a hired car or a moped (automatic) recommended (you should in principle on Phuket, something flexible for excursions and don't hassle with 'taxi Mafia' complaints).
