We stayed in one of the following standard room with the sea with direct access from the garden used. The room was great: private terrace with sun screen, large glass door-combination in an arc (metal frame with traces of rust-but didn't matter), very high area, vestibule with curtain detachable, despite two additional beds for our kids still plentiful, tasteful antiques and a bit dated, but very clean bathroom. We loved it. Gastronomy not in the true sense of the word but the breakfast buffet was sufficient for Italian conditions and they h... Read more

Nice little city hotel in Anacapri. Was once home to the summer residence of the Swedish Queen. The rooms are very large and the decor was a nice touch. On arrival, excellent German speaking, the hotel manager very tried to keep to various attractions, restaurants. Nearby there is a bus stop. Basically Capri for the handicapped, older people, not recommended, large, often means steep paths are, because in Capri town no cars. By bus is an easy Capri/Anacapri. The buses are however very small and often crowded. ( A drive 1,40 Euro) Read more

but it is still a lovely hotel which i am looking forward to return to, due to the quietness on that corner of the crowded island, and the very nice walks in the area.

Small comment, the room balcony could have benefited from some new patio furniture and a coat of paint, however more importantly the view was superb and it was quiet and restful.

this time, it seems to be a bit too early in the season, the garden were untidy, to little cheese for breakfast, the room was somewhat cold (especially the bathroom), the cupboard damp (with paint falling from the ceiling) and some lightbulbs missing.

Gastronomy not in the true sense of the word but the breakfast buffet was sufficient for Italian conditions and they have a choice in a nice breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the evenings.
