Purchased Holiday through Thomas Cook. Was not told that this was an overspill hotel for late bookers until we got there and paid quite a high price ( Was misled ). Very dated with very little investment ( stuck in the eighties ) Gardens unmaintained and tatty. Main gripe was very poor child size meals with no choice at all,so if you don't like it, hard luck ! .Pudding - one night three pieces of melon another two pineapple rings from tin and another just jelly ( no seconds ) Spent a fortune... Hotel was 5 star standard, food was excellent and staff extremely friendly. BUT please be aware that in the Thomas Cook Adult escape brochure it advises no young children. However this is not the case as only Thomas Cook does not accept any young children all the other travel agencies do. We wanted a quiet peaceful holiday but instead had young children who screamed, cried shouted all day. Even in the restaurants it did not stop. The Rothbacher Hof is a small, clean hotel. The overall condition is good, the interior fittings is maintained. In the hotel you will find a variety of spa facilities. 2 saunas, a Finnish sauna and a tepidarium for ever 2 persons and a jacuzzi. Furthermore a solarium ( for a fee ), as well as 2 fitness equipment. All further agency offers 50 euros. It can overnight stay with breakfast or night with half board be booked.

Hotel area was very nice, clean and with a super vegetation.
the structure of the guests was very mixed. (Austrian, Swiss, English...)
we had a standard-bungalow.
big enough and well equipped.
the bed is very comfortable!
the bathroom is half open.
the bathtub (unfortunately) is a shower curtain plug. (in a four-star hotel a no-go)
cleaning of the rooms and laundry service are great!
staff is always friendly, except for bellmen.
