... stay at the Catalonia Royal. My sisters wedding was incredible and I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a mature environment where you can relax. If you are more adventurous and like to party/club or go shopping Playa del Carmen is only a 15 minute cheap and safe drive away!!!

We were for the fifth time in Mexico and the Catalunya was by far the best hotel of all. If you don't go it is your own fault. All until now written reviews agree 100%. We have after a night upgraded to deluxe room ( top floor).= 10 American Dollar per persons a night. The is recommendable. The food is very good and varied. I am a vegetarian and I have always found something or it extra something for me.

A perfect holiday in Mexico! Royal Catalunya's not free excellent reviews. The beach is gorgeous and all other areas speak for themselves. Because of the numerous restaurants must one not each evening for buffet and for example in the romantic tapas bar to evening eat.
The staff were always friendly and regards always! There are numerous entertainers, most are from Italy since in the hotel many Italian guests are. As German you rather peace left, the entertainers fall mainly to the Italians.

2 weeks in the country after trip we were looking for a few days relaxation in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. This hotel is 100% -IG highly recommended. The complex it is not overly large and the paths to go through tropical greenery. Place on the beach and at the pool there are enough. Everything is extremely clean and well maintained. The hotel complex is right in the middle of in the jungle and this is also in the indoor area integrated. We found very nice!
the hotel is extensive laid out. From the lobby you can go through a way, by the jungle go up to pool area and to the beach. Great service as on the 3rd day of my holiday i tore a tendon on my ankle which the hotel dealt with extremley quickly getting me a doctor then on to the hospital which was to my surprise brilliant.
