We traveled with a rental car and there was also the first problem: there is anywhere access to onsite parking ($19 /day), it's only or remove from bell boy. There is a public car park nearby in the Avenue Laurier ($14 /day). So we had to go far to the hotel with all our luggage. The hotel itself is everything angled with lots of steps and no elevator (heavy luggage in an unpratical way). We had a small double room with view of the "backyard/trash". We enjoyed a nice winter weekend at the Grande Allee Hotel & Suites during Quebec's winter carnaval & seeing as all the events where at the plains of Abraham, the location of the hotel was excellent.
