Hotel Chaaya Village

As a part of our Sri Lanka tours spent we also 2 nights in chaaya village. The hotel is built like a small village. The rooms are in row individually built and of sufficient size. Although somewhat older already, but clean and tidy. The staff were very accommodating and that at a so-called Pass-Through or tours-hotel. Exemplary. I would recommend a Elefantenritt. Costs 19 American Dollar per person, you can book through the hotel. At the end ask the ' Elefantengbegleiter ' a fairly high tip (1000 Rupee per person). the hotel lies convenient for day trips to some of the main sights of the island (Kaudulla NP, Anuradhpura, Sigiriya, Pollonaruwa).
