Stayed in the old part of the hotel which is 150 years old very happy with everything. Certainly will return and stay in the old building...beautiful.
Stayed on the top floor facing the mountains. Room very modern and large. Excellent bathroom again very new , lovely view from the balcony of the Bernese Oberland Jungfrau/Monch and a bit of the Eiger. Very good room service changing towels and sheets. Large LCD tv on the wall, cannot fault the room and service at all...

Very nice wooden Swiss chalet style hotel located within easy walking distance of the railway station. Rooms at the front of the hotel have a fantastic view of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains ( cloud cover permitting !). Included with the booking is free access to the local travel network which was very useful. Elevator only goes to the second floor which would make access to third floor rooms difficult for disabled or the elderly. Room was a good size and clean. The hotel is based on a typical Swiss Chalet with an annexe at the rear. We had a superior room in the main building with a balcony and magnificent views of the Jungfrau. There were 3 floors with a lift to the 2nd floor and stairs up to the 3rd. Superior room basically is a larger room with a balcony, furnishings were more than adequate with a nice size bathroom/toilet.
