We have stayed there (couple) 1 night, unfortunately disappointing, since we two nights ago in Christchurch in a very nice motel were. Although the hotel accomm in a Deluxe room on the travel agent was booked half a year ago, we were given a room with only a couple two single beds (no queen size bed). In the room there was a very large, round window, the tightened was very visible, if not the curtains you. At the hotel there was nothing decisive to complain about, it's not a great new building but mostly renovated inside and a very well maintained and unterhaltenem condition. No complaints concerning cleanliness. Not too big but very nice garden with outdoor swimming pool.
Our room had a stylish furniture and very comfortable beds. Noise from other rooms or corridor minimum to not hear it. The A/C could be adjusted.
Very friendly service from reception and in the restaurant. Also 100 % suitable for families with children.

The hotel is a venerable decor, the celebrations can be used by locals. Nice house on the Hagley Park, but got a little bit older. We got an upgrade, the rooms were taken with a little more amenities, a coffee-card ( there was so many coffee drinks and tea etc, as you want ) and the breakfast is very cheap. Cost about 25 Euro per night. Own parking place and free, there is a free shuttle to the city. The breakfast is very good and varied. From the hotel in the city just a 30 minutes walk through the park and a few blocks. The botanical garde... Read more
