All public means of transport in maximally five minutes footpath to reach. The staff were with every question friendly and helpful, no question 'stupid' came from. A bit of a walk from the centre (up to the first shops of the magnificent mile, approximately about 20 to 30 minutes footpath, but otherwise very good. The restaurant in the hotel we didn't used. To be highlighted was the friendliness of the staff, as well as the good equipment of the rooms. In the new restaurant was nicely, the staff quick and the food was excellent and with a good price/performance ratio. The hotel is ideally located on the first front to the Lake Michigan. The easy access to public transport is great, three drive bus line right in front of the hotel. We would the 'Essex inn' again, perhaps as early as next year. Read more
