The hotel is nothing special, you can recommend it although, personally, I would choose a different one but if I would be in Manila again.
The location is for Manila completely well one comes from the hotel fast everywhere in the city. If the taxi driver not try to scam an even cheap.
Also the (United Nation) stop by the pool is five minutes to foot well to reach.
The room is OK in size, since it but it seemed very dark but it is something depressing.
The bathroom is something small and it is just only a person at a time.

I was end march 2010 for three days in the city garden hotel in these three days and had no reason to complain. The room was a bit small and dark furniture and the wooden floors in combination with a dark the small window not very welcoming and friendly but to sleep no problem. The service was OK and the cleaning. The bathroom was rather small. The breakfast buffet was sparse but adequate. The location of the hotel is perfect in the heart of Ermita. The size, furnishing and cleanliness of the room is OK. Something disturbing was the amount in our room on bed, right next to the bed-mounted shaky Klimabox.
