A family-friendly hotel outside of Budapest with very good bus service into the city. Especially recommendable were the massage on the premises of the hotel. We will certainly go back to the hotel Normafa. Read more

The hotel is located on the highest point Normafa (about 400m. above sea) of a hill, which west from the city center. The center of Budapest (about 80m. above sea) or any other major points can however by bus/metro within 20 minutes from. We enjoyed it very appreciated our car for several days free parking within the locked resort could and were able to do all sightseeing by public transportation. We stayed at this hotel in conjunction with a Zahnarztbehandlung (Clinic on the same street) and we were pleased. We felt the house not a 4 star (closer to 3 ). . It is a smaller hotel on the mountain in Buda is, it has a beautiful garden and our room had a great view of the city. The breakfast was a smaller buffet with rolls, bread, a little bit sausage and cheese, smaller choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice. If you wanted them a delicious scrambled eggs. The hotel is located in the ninth district Sissi Budapest, in a quiet location lateral road. The house has six floors with approximately 50 rooms. Lifts or staircase lead to the floors. The clientele was mixed, so were our visit German, English from young to old and Hungary in the hotel.
the rooms are equipped with bath, hair dryer, TV, minibar, safe, telephone and two single beds (= a double bed). The room and the bath were clean. The beds were very comfortable. Some rooms have balconies.

the hotel lies in the middle of the main shopping street in Budapest. It is a typical city hotel inclusive hotel's own parking. It is like any Mercure hotel is clean and modern!
our room was rather small, but this is for city hotel not unusual! The bathroom is freshly renovated and the room absolutely clean and well equipped! Hair Dryer, TV everything available! I guess the room about 5 years old furniture.
