decent three star hotel in a quiet, but very nice location. The rooms are rather poor equipped, but it didn't bother me. The staff were mostly friendly, sometimes friendly with ease. The pool is, in fact, not nearly as nice as in the photos. The food was good and also diverse, but not quite as plentiful as I expected from other club hotels. This was our first vacation to Lanzarote on new year's Eve. We love the hotel, the staff, the food, which changed daily in a large variety and something for every taste is, the entertainment team. We cannot reconstruct the negative criticism from November 2011 not by Rolf. This criticism has in the apron the hotel San Diego is okay to fine vacation very reduced. We had with the hotel is a good starting point the island with a rental car( highly recommendable) to explore. During the day we used the possibilities in the hotel area (sports, entertainment, etc.) not enough, since we were out. We had booked a suite with a view of the sea -it did a fabulous setting and view. Only about 50 meters from the surf, an experience at any time. Hotel has only three stars but is really recommendable. The price performance ratio fits. Everything was very clean. Entertainment was good and not pushy. But unfortunately all sports activities at the same time, so that we had to decide where you joined in. I can also recommend a bicycle hire and Marina of Playa Blanca. The Marina is small but wonderful and mile and there is a nice market SA instead. In the meantime in the hotel there were also some Polish guests, with whom we had a lot of fun at volleyball.
