Unfortunately, we had to make the beds leave once again, the sheets were dirty and the bed was covered in hair. This was after a call to the front desk immediately. ... on the Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, the main shopping area of the city, with its many shops. The Copa Bana kilometer long sandy beach with his four is only about 100 meters away from the hotel. During our trip we stayed here for three nights in the hotel copa sul and was very satisfied. The check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was modern and newly furnished. Two broad beds with a great mattress, space for bags and clothes, everything was clean and not hit or knocked. Our room in the 12. For a trip this hotel is a good choice, it is located in the second row to the beach of copacabana and easy access to ipanema. Restaurant, supermarkets and bars are immediate Nearby. The only drawback is the very noisy air conditioning, so don't forget ear plugs! Read more

The decor of the hotel is rather run down and simple. Overall nothing dirty or particularly to complain former.
At the front desk spoke English and portuguese; one of the staff was even German.
The breakfast was good, there was fresh fruit, coffee, tea, cakes, eggs, etc., only disturbed us, that there is no real juices, but only sodas were. Read more

the hotel claims to be gayfriendly, but if you want to let someone stay at your room for more than 15 minutes they charge you around R$ 150 (which is absurd of course) - the phone for the staff in the hall was constantly ringing loudly, which was very disturbing - airconditioners indeed made a lot of noise.
